Lucas Wedeman

He / Him / El

Community Engagement Team Lead

Lucas Wedeman found his way to non-profit work by volunteering in the aftermath of the Almeda wildfire of 2020, which destroyed more than 2,000 homes and displaced over 4,000 people. Lucas’ neighbors and friends were in those numbers.

Lucas was able to use his bilingual strength and kind heart to help heal his community while finding his lifelong calling. At the end of 2020, Lucas joined the Rogue Action Center assisting fire affected families in navigating challenges to access the resources available to them.

After many long and hard conversations and countless bridges built to friendship, Lucas is honored to represent his community and to keep standing alongside them in this journey to recovery and equity.

Lucas is thrilled to continue serving his community and helping to heal the community through food with Rogue Food Unites.
