Tania Pineda

She / Her / Ella

Bilingual Community Engagement Coordinator

Tania Pineda grew up in Visalia, California and would eventually move to the Rogue Valley at the age of eleven; Here is where she found her passion for helping others.  Tania worked in acute healthcare for six years. During her time working in the Hospital, Tania learned compassion and the true meaning of  helping others. Tania left this line of duty to focus on her education full time, she later earned an Associates Degree in Business Technology/Accounting. After losing her home to the Almeda Wildfire of 2020,  Tania made a career change that would lead her to enroll at Southern Oregon University to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Innovation and Leadership with a minor in Spanish: with this degree she plans to help her community as much as she can. This is her first time working in a  non-profit setting, she is excited to learn new skills that will help her meet her goal of helping the community that helped her when she lost everything in the 2020 Wildfire.

Tania loves spending time with her two children: attending soccer games in their free time along with camping on the weekends when the weather allows it. Spending quality time at home with her family is by far the best way she can spend her time.

Tania is a strong believer that food is magical and has amazing ways to bring people together.
